<p>As some of you might know, I recently got a new job after being unemployed for about 9 months.  During my unemployment, I spent a lot of time meeting other people and being involved in a number of job search groups in the Greater Cincinnati area. One of them was the $timulus Job Networking Group, which meets Tuesday evenings at 7 PM at the <a class="zem_slink freebase/en/barnes_noble" title="Barnes &amp; Noble" rel="homepage" href="http://www.barnesandnobleinc.com/">Barnes &amp; Noble</a> in <a class="zem_slink freebase/en/west_chester_township" title="West Chester Township, Butler County, Ohio" rel="geolocation" href="http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=39.3916666667,-84.5261111111&amp;spn=0.01,0.01&amp;q=39.3916666667,-84.5261111111 (West%20Chester%20Township%2C%20Butler%20County%2C%20Ohio)&amp;t=h">West Chester, Ohio</a>.</p>
<p>I consider Monte Washburn and others in the group not only as great colleagues, but also as friends.  When I landed my new job, Monte asked if the group could interview me so that I could tell my story for this program.<span id="more-920"></span></p>
<p><a href="http://howigotmyjob.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/2010-05-18-20.05.40.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-923" title="2010-05-18 20.05.40" src="http://howigotmyjob.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/2010-05-18-20.05.40-300x224.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="224" /></a></p>
<p>So, in this special interview (<a title="How I Got My Job as a Business Analyst - Daniel Johnson Jr" href="http://media.danieljohnsonjr.com/higmj-business-analyst.mp3" target="_blank">mp3</a>, 40:21, 37 MB) I share how I recently landed my job as a <a class="zem_slink freebase/en/business_analyst" title="Business analyst" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Business_analyst">Business Analyst</a> for a company that provides software solutions in the Greater Cincinnati area.</p>
