About Ron
Ron Harper’s introduction to radio began at a very early age – his Mom was on a quiz show in Chicago when she was pregnant with him. He graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in Communications. Over the course of his career, he’s been on the air and behind the scenes across the country from Texas to New Orleans to Charlotte. He has broadcasted live from Disneyland and the Barcelona Olympics. He was a finalist for Billboard’s Air Personality of the Year and was also named Best Independent Producer by the National Association of Broadcasters.
He is also a freelance voice talent working with clients around the world (for example, he is the signature voice for internet radio station channel27.net in London, and for the Victory Christian Church national cable broadcasts.) Early in 2009, he started a new venture: Videos On Your Website, working with small businesses to produce multimedia marketing pieces.
Ron and his wife and live in the Greater Cincinnati area with their two cats, Hoomie and Gizmo.
