About Karen

Karen Blocksom is a statistician for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Although her dual training in ecology and statistics was not focused on environmental science, a bit of luck brought her to her current career 11 years ago. She has spent the last decade building a reputation in her field on a national scale. However, a recent move across the country for her spouse's job has opened up the possibility of a major career change, about which she has mixed feelings.
